Civil Defense Keeps Pace with Coastal and Marine Cleanup Campaign

Civil Defense personnel in Lebanon kept pace with the "Clean for the Seals" activity held in the Roucheh area to mark World Cleanup Day 2026, as part of supporting environmental initiatives and enhancing the protection of marine environments.

The event included a coastal and marine cleanup campaign aimed at contributing to the protection of marine ecosystems and habitats of the Mediterranean monk seal, with participation from various relevant organizations and associations.

Civil Defense personnel ensured public safety and accompanied participants throughout the activity’s execution, guaranteeing its smooth operation under necessary preventive measures.
