Issued by the Directorate General of Lebanese Civil Defense's Media and Public Relations Division:

A member of the civil defense was slightly injured following the explosion of an old landmine from wartime remnants in the Tanourine Cedar Reserve – Batroun District, after a stone fell on the mine and triggered its detonation. The individual was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Civil defense personnel, alongside teams from nearly ten centers and supported by a military helicopter, continue operations to extinguish the fire, contain the flames, and prevent further spread, with field operations still ongoing at the site.
