Civil Defense Logs 86 Missions in Last 24 Hours
The General Directorate of Civil Defense reported completing 86 operations over the past day, including fire suppression and medical aid.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced that its personnel carried out a total of 86 missions during the last 24 hours. The directorate provided a detailed breakdown of these operations, categorizing them by type and specific nature.
Fire Suppression Operations Breakdown
A significant portion of the workload involved extinguishing fires, with 41 such incidents recorded. Within this category, grass fires accounted for the highest number at 25 cases. Additionally, crews responded to four waste fires and three residential house fires.
The report further specified that two electrical fires were addressed alongside five incidents involving various types of vehicles. Institutional buildings also required intervention, with two separate fires extinguished in such facilities.
Medical Aid and Public Services
Emergency medical assistance constituted another major segment of the daily activity, totaling 26 missions. This figure includes 14 responses to emergency cases and eight instances of patient transport. Traffic accidents necessitated three rescue or aid interventions, while one mission involved the handling of remains.
Beyond firefighting and medical response, the civil defense units completed 11 general service tasks. A single operation was dedicated to transporting water supplies to centers housing displaced persons.
