Closure of Nasib Crossing Suspends Export of 1,500 Tons of Lebanese Agricultural Products
The closure of the Nasib border crossing with Jordan has halted the export of approximately 1,500 tons of Lebanese agricultural products due to security developments in Daraa.

The closure of the Nasib border crossing with Jordan and the suspension of passenger and commercial truck traffic in both directions have impacted Lebanese agricultural exports. This is due to security developments in Daraa province, coinciding with airstrikes that resulted in seven deaths and three injuries, according to the province's health director.
In this context, Bekaa Group President Ibrahim Tarshishi told MTV that "around 50 trucks loaded with approximately 1,500 tons of agricultural products were stuck, heading to Jordan and other countries, while there are also Lebanese shipments stranded in Syria, either towards Lebanon or towards Jordan."
Tarshishi urged relevant authorities to follow up on the issue to facilitate the passage of Lebanese trucks and restore the flow of goods from and to Lebanon.
