Commercial Timber Ship Runs Aground Near Sidon Port

A commercial ship ran aground in the open sea, behind the new port of Sidon.

The aforementioned ship was loaded with timber and was on its way to the Sidon port quay to unload its cargo.

The grounding of the ship is attributed to voids on its deck and poor distribution of the load on board, which caused tons of timber to shift from one side to the other.
