Customs Clearance Agents at the Factory Suspended Their Strike
Customs clearance agents at the factory have suspended their open-ended strike following meetings between the Minister of Economy and Trade, Ammar al-Bassat, and the head of the Supreme Customs Council, Colonel Mousa al-Khaleel.
Customs clearance agents at the factory announced the suspension of their open-ended strike starting from this afternoon, following communications conducted by Minister of Economy and Trade Ammar al-Bassat and head of the Supreme Customs Council Colonel Mousa al-Khaleel.
A delegation of the agents is scheduled to meet Colonel al-Khaleel tomorrow in his office in Beirut, with customs agents set to hold a meeting with the Minister of Economy next Friday to discuss their demands and grievances that prompted the strike.
