Due to escalating military tensions in the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea, along with the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, diesel prices are expected to exceed $30 per gallon by Friday.
Wrote the head of the Fuel Stations Owners' Syndicate, Georges Braaks, on his account on the "X" platform:
"Unfortunately, due to the military escalation in the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea, and the Russian-Ukrainian war, the diesel gallon will follow its gasoline counterpart and surpass the $30 mark tomorrow, Friday."
