MTV learned that security agencies have dismantled a network linked to former Syrian regime officers and Hezbollah, operating to train and shelter elements from the Syrian coast, supplying them with weapons, explosives, and drones for conducting security operations inside Syria.
In detail, a former Syrian officer named Ali Safi was responsible for coordinating with Hezbollah leadership and Syrian figures in Moscow to plan, fund, train, and carry out operations.
MTV sources revealed that security agencies seized large quantities of explosives and weapons at a site frequented by members of this network in Aakkar, detained five individuals involved, and are continuing investigations and follow-ups to apprehend Hezbollah operatives implicated in the network.
