Drugs Trafficking in Jounieh... This Is What Was Seized

As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to pursue fugitives and combat drug trafficking across various regions in Lebanon, information was received by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit under the Regional Gendarmerie regarding a person involved in drug distribution in the Jounieh area, operating from a black-colored "Kia Rio" vehicle.

Subsequently, a patrol from the unit proceeded to the location. Following careful surveillance and monitoring, the suspect was apprehended while inside the aforementioned vehicle. It was established that he is:

H.R. (born in 1994, Lebanese)

Upon search, the following items were seized:

/3/ Envelopes containing marijuana, one of which is large in size.

/9/ Envelopes containing khat.

/15/ Envelopes each containing white powdered drugs.

/8/ Medium-sized plastic capsules, sealed, containing white powdered drugs.

/6/ Medium-sized plastic capsules, unsealed, containing white powdered drugs.

/4/ Small-sized plastic capsules, sealed, containing white powdered drugs.

One small-sized plastic capsule, unsealed, containing white powdered drugs.

Cash and a mobile phone.

The detained individual, along with the seized items and the vehicle, was handed over to the competent police unit for legal proceedings, pursuant to instructions from the competent judicial authority.
