Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Confronting the Activities of These Military Parties is a Joint and Continuous Battle

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned "in the strongest terms the violation of the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through an attempt to target its oil facilities in the Eastern Region and Riyadh region with drones launched from Iraqi territory." It expressed in a statement "the full solidarity of the Lebanese Republic with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its complete concern for its security, stability, and territorial integrity."

While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants welcomed the announcement by the Iraqi authorities to open an investigation into this incident, it affirmed that "confronting the military activities practiced by non-state parties, especially in Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen, is a joint and continuous battle, leading to enabling these states to extend their authority and sovereignty over their entire territories by their own legitimate forces alone."

In a related context, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants renewed "its strong condemnation of the launch of Iranian ballistic missiles towards Jordanian territory - according to what the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps itself acknowledged - and affirms that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and a threat to regional security and stability." It also expressed "Lebanon's full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in confronting anything that affects its security, stability, and territorial integrity."
