Houthis Call for Evacuation of Aden Airport Claiming Saudi Arms Shipment
The Houthis have demanded the immediate evacuation of Aden International Airport, alleging the presence of a Saudi military cargo plane carrying weapons.

The Houthis, present at Aden International Airport in southern Yemen, called for its immediate evacuation, claiming the presence of a Saudi military cargo plane transporting weapons, in a new threat to the airport which has been targeted by attacks in recent weeks.
Yahya Saree, the group's military spokesperson, stated in a post on the "X" platform that "the call for evacuation is due to the presence of a Saudi plane transporting weapons to be used against Yemenis," according to Agence France-Presse.
The internationally recognized Yemeni government has used Aden as its temporary headquarters since the Houthis seized control of the capital, Sanaa, in 2014.
