From Universities to the Public Sector: A Platform for Collaboration
Lebanon's Ministry of State for Administrative Development launched a matchmaking portal to connect public sector needs with academic and professional expertise.

The Ministry of State for Administrative Development organized an open day to introduce the "Matchmaking Portal," attended by Minister Fadi Makki, along with university students, professors, specialists, and experts.
The platform aims to link the needs of public institutions with the skills of students, graduates, academics, professionals, and experts in Lebanon and abroad, engaging them in projects that contribute to developing administration and public services.
So far, the platform has registered more than 666 users, 145 published opportunities, 491 participation requests, and 53 matches, with the involvement of 26 public sector entities. Opportunities are distributed across fields including digital transformation, engineering, data, communication, legal work, research, procedure improvement, and archiving.
Makki affirmed that the goal is to create a practical mechanism enabling public administration to benefit from talents and experiences and link them to actual needs within institutions.
The platform also allows public institutions to present specific challenges and problems to experts to provide ideas and solutions in collaboration with them, as part of the ministry's efforts to enhance cooperation between the public sector, universities, and experienced professionals.
