GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi expressed support for the framework agreement and Lebanese-American efforts to restore Lebanon's sovereignty and Israeli withdrawal.

Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), expressed his approval of the content of the framework agreement and the Lebanese and American efforts aimed at restoring Lebanon's sovereignty and ensuring Israel's withdrawal from its territories.
He affirmed the GCC's support for the Lebanese Republic in reclaiming all its rights and extending its sovereignty over its entire land, which contributes to confining decisions of peace and war to the hands of legitimate state institutions, enabling the Lebanese people to live in security, stability, and prosperity.
He also noted that the GCC countries endorse dialogue, peaceful means, and diplomacy to resolve all disputes, praising the role of the United States in the process of this framework agreement, the negotiations, and the agreements it sponsors.
