Rajji Meets Gulf Ambassadors, Affirms Support for Lebanon's Sovereignty
Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji met with Gulf Cooperation Council ambassadors in Beirut, thanking them for their support of Lebanon's sovereignty and institutions.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Rajji posted on "X": "I was honored to accept the invitation from Kuwait's Ambassador to Lebanon, Mohammed Al-Sharjani, to a lunch gathering that brought together ambassadors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. We exchanged views on current developments and the challenges facing our region.
I thanked the Kuwaiti ambassador for his warm hospitality, and the Gulf states for their support of Lebanon and appreciation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' positions in defending its sovereignty and strengthening its institutions. I stressed the need to continue working to restore Lebanon to its natural position among its brothers and friends, after years of policies that distanced it from its Arab surroundings.
I also affirmed Lebanon's solidarity with the Gulf states during this critical phase, and the importance of combining our efforts and intensifying coordination to overcome current challenges, in a way that safeguards the sovereignty of our nations and preserves their security and stability."
