Prime Minister Nouf al-Salam is leaving for the United States, where he will first head to New York to participate in the sessions of the United Nations General Assembly and deliver Lebanon's speech before it.

During the sidelines of the General Assembly, President al-Salam will hold a series of bilateral meetings and consultations with several world leaders and international officials.

He will then proceed to Washington, where a series of meetings are scheduled, including with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Group President Ajay Banga, and several other American and international officials.
