Gunfire Incident in Qob al-Yas in Army Custody

"On 21/9/2026, a armed confrontation took place in the Qob al-Yas–Zahle area, resulting in injuries. In response, army units carried out search operations in the region and apprehended three individuals who opened fire, seizing a quantity of weapons and military ammunition.

Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects. The seized materials have been handed over, and investigations with the detained individuals have commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
