He stole a house with a key he had previously copied..
The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of a Syrian suspect who stole approximately 11,000 USD and jewelry from a home in Bouchrieh using a copied key, and was found in possession of two pistols.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division:
Within the framework of the ongoing work carried out by the Internal Security Forces units to combat crimes and arrest their perpetrators across all Lebanese territories.
On 14-5-2026, an unknown person entered the home of a citizen located in the Bouchrieh area without breaking or forcing entry, and stole from inside an amount of approximately 11,000 USD and jewelry, then fled to an unknown destination.
Immediately, the Information Branch initiated its field and investigative procedures to identify the thief and arrest him. As a result of intensive inquiries and investigations, within hours they succeeded in identifying him, and he is named:

After a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, within less than 24 hours, one of the Branch's patrols managed to arrest him in the Bourj Hammoud area.
Upon searching him, two military pistols with 3 magazines and 10 usable rounds, a mobile phone, and a sum of money were found in his possession.
During interrogation, he confessed to what was attributed to him, regarding his act of entering the aforementioned home using a borrowed key that he had copied to carry out the theft, and that he bought the two seized pistols from the stolen money, and that he also paid an amount to obtain a weapon carry license.
The stolen items were recovered and handed over to their owner.
Legal action was taken against him, and he was handed over along with the seized items to the competent authority, based on the judiciary's指示.
