Head of Bint Jbeil Water Department Attacked with gunfire

The head of the Bint Jbeil water department and several workers were attacked with gunfire by the Israeli army in the village of Aytta al-Jabal, where they were working to repair faults and restore water supply to residents, ensuring service continuity and supporting their steadfastness on their land.

The authority stated in a press release that "targeting public service workers while carrying out their duties constitutes an attack on civilians and on the right of local residents to access water."

While wishing all workers safety amid dangerous and difficult conditions, the authority affirmed that its teams continue carrying out field operations based on their responsibility toward citizens and their commitment to ensuring water supply for southern villages and towns.
