In Nabatieh: Bombardment and Robberies... This Is What Happened!

"As part of the daily monitoring conducted by the Internal Security Forces to combat robbery operations across various Lebanese regions, information reached the Intelligence Branch regarding an unidentified individual carrying out thefts from homes and commercial establishments in the city of Nabatieh, taking advantage of owners' absence due to security conditions.

Subsequently, specialized units within the branch initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the person involved in these incidents. Following inquiries and investigations, the branch successfully identified the individual, named:

U.R. (born 1993, Lebanese)

On August 19, 2026, after a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the branch’s patrols managed to apprehend him in the Dier al-Zahrani area.

Upon interrogation, he confessed to the charges related to committing multiple thefts from homes and commercial stores in the city of Nabatieh. He also admitted that on the date of his arrest, he had stolen several vegetable crates from a commercial establishment and concealed them behind his house in the Dier al-Zahrani neighborhood.

Immediately thereafter, a patrol from the branch proceeded to the mentioned location, where it succeeded in recovering the stolen goods.

Legal procedures were carried out against him, and he was handed over along with the seized items to the competent judicial authority, pursuant to the prosecutor's instructions."
