In Pictures: Smuggled Medicines Inside a 'Villa'!

The Ministry of Finance announced in a statement that "in continuation of monitoring the file of smuggled and unauthorized medicines under the purview of the General Directorate of Customs, a force from the Beirut Rural Combat Unit raided a warehouse located inside one of the villas, which was being used to store smuggled medicines and distribute and sell them illegally and without any license to various regions."

The ministry stated: "The medicines have been seized and transferred to the center, and the violator has been taken into custody to complete the investigation and carry out the necessary legal procedures under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
