Jaber Carries Aoun's Vision for Stability and Reform to the Bosphorus Summit.. Lebanon's Sovereignty and Reforms Top the Agenda

Finance Minister Yassin Jaber left Beirut heading to Istanbul to represent President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun at the 17th Bosphorus Summit, organized by the International Cooperation Platform on November 5 and 6, 2026, under the theme "Global Transformation and the Search for Stability."

Jaber will deliver two speeches during the summit proceedings. The first, on behalf of the President in the opening session on Thursday, will present Lebanon's vision for stability, based on extending state sovereignty, restoring confidence through reforms, and transforming recovery and reconstruction into opportunities for growth and job creation, alongside emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between Lebanon and Turkey.

The second speech will be delivered on Friday in his capacity as Finance Minister, during the "Global Financial System" session, where he will address Lebanon's financial and reform priorities, the necessity of converting international funding into tangible projects, and the role of regional integration in supporting the recovery path.

The summit brings together heads of state and government, ministers, experts, and private sector representatives, forming a platform to present Lebanon's priorities before its international partners and discuss ways to enhance economic and financial cooperation amidst global transformations and challenges related to achieving stability.

In this context, the Media Office of the Ministry of Finance announced that the official digital platform "Voice of Finance" will live-stream, via its social media accounts, Jaber's speech on behalf of the President from the summit venue in Istanbul on Thursday, November 5, in addition to his speech as Finance Minister on Friday.
