Interior Minister Praises Exceptional Efforts of Internal Security Forces on 165th Anniversary

On the occasion of the 165th anniversary of the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces, Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar expressed his respect and pride for this longstanding national institution. He highlighted that the directorate has served as a stronghold for security and a fundamental pillar of the state during both challenging crises and periods of stability.

Minister Al-Hajjar emphasized that the officers and personnel of the Internal Security Forces have demonstrated through their commitment and sacrifices their capability to uphold security and order, protect citizens, and address national challenges with competence and dedication.

He extended his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership, officers, and members of the Internal Security Forces for their exceptional efforts toward Lebanon’s security and stability. He wished the Internal Security Forces continued well-being and Lebanon increased safety, stability, and prosperity.

Earlier in the day, Minister Al-Hajjar visited the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces, where he met with the Director General, Brigadier General Raed Abdullah, and members of the leadership council.
