The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division stated that a contracted company will resume paving work on Omar Bin Khattab Street in Beirut, beginning today, June 20, 2026, until completion. These works will not result in a complete closure of traffic in the area.

Additionally, starting at 6:00 AM on June 21, 2026, the Jal El Dib – Qnayeh Municipality will continue maintenance on the Jal El Dib pedestrian iron bridge. This will include installing advertising boards on both the eastern and western lanes, with approval from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Consequently, some lanes will be closed temporarily. The traffic unit of the New Patrol Division within the Regional Gendarmerie will manage traffic flow during this period.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces requested that citizens take note of these measures and comply with the instructions and guidance provided by Internal Security Forces personnel, as well as follow traffic signage, to facilitate smooth traffic movement.
