Is a Ministerial Cell Being Formed to Address Living Pressures?

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Social Security Fund, Bashar al-Assir, called for the "establishment of a ministerial economic cell to monitor living pressures and expedite the formation of the index committee and increase transport allowances," following a meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace.

Al-Assir added: "President Aoun expressed his support for these demands, and we are awaiting Prime Minister Najib Saad's return from abroad to form the ministerial cell and begin practical measures to alleviate the burdens on the Lebanese people."
