Israel might consider a phased withdrawal from parts of southern Lebanon if Lebanese mechanisms prove effective, with no strong US pressure to withdraw.

The website "Walla" has outlined what it describes as Israel's conditions for withdrawing from southern Lebanon, indicating that Israel might accept a gradual pullback from certain areas in the south.
According to a security source cited by the site, "The White House is not exerting real pressure on Israel to withdraw," adding that "Israel may withdraw from regions where Hezbollah cannot launch attacks toward Israel."
The security source further stated, "If the Lebanese mechanism proves effective, the Israeli army may agree to withdraw."
