Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said that Iran still represents the main focus of the army's readiness, stressing that all combat fronts remain active.
Zamir added, at the beginning of the General Staff's situation assessment: 'The soldiers and commanders in the regular, permanent, and reserve forces are the most important resource for Israel. It is appropriate and correct that they be at the forefront of priorities receiving the state's assessment of decisions and resources, while ensuring their care and the care of their families and future.'
He pointed out that Israel 'today celebrates a thousand days since the outbreak of the longest war in our history. Iran remains the main focus of readiness. We are in a transitional phase on all war fronts. These fronts are interconnected, and any action on one may affect the other.'
