Israeli Army: We Targeted Two Armed Individuals Near the Border with Lebanon

The Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya announced "targeting two armed individuals near the border with Israel in southern Lebanon."

Waweya said, via her account on the "X" platform: "Israeli army observation posts spotted suspicious movement of two armed individuals hundreds of meters from the border with Israel in southern Lebanon," noting that "as soon as they were spotted, and under continuous monitoring by the forces, we attacked the armed individuals in an airstrike."

She added: "We began sweeping operations in the area, and we did not find any indications of additional suspects in the region."

She concluded: "We maintain continuous communication with the towns and will provide updates on any developments."
