Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir affirmed ongoing escalation against Hezbollah, stating no place is immune from attack and emphasizing deepening military operations.

Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir declared on Friday that Israel is continuing to escalate its operations against Hezbollah, emphasizing that there is no location suitable to serve as a stronghold for the group and no place where it enjoys immunity.
Zamir made these remarks during a visit to the 210th Division in the northern region, accompanied by Northern Command leader Major General Rafi Milo and several senior military commanders, where he conducted a field assessment of the situation along the Lebanese border.
He stated that "the red line does not limit us," signaling an expansion in the scope of military operations. Zamir added that the objective is to "inflict greater damage on Hezbollah, eliminate the threat, and strengthen the defenses of northern settlements."
Earlier, the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv reported that assessments by the Israeli Northern Command indicate Hezbollah is experiencing difficult conditions and is pressuring Iran to reach a ceasefire agreement in Lebanon.
The newspaper cited a military source who said that "the operations and efforts carried out by Israeli forces in southern Lebanon have significantly weakened Hezbollah," resulting in the deaths of thousands of its members and the destruction of its military infrastructure, according to Israeli army data.
