Industry Minister Joe Assi Khouri affirmed support for President Joseph Aoun’s negotiation efforts after a meeting focused on industrial sector affairs and current national conditions.

Industry Minister Joe Assi Khouri stated following his meeting with President Joseph Aoun that the two discussed matters concerning the industrial sector and the country’s prevailing conditions.
Khouri confirmed that the government stands alongside the president and supports the efforts he is undertaking in the negotiations file.
Marwan Hamadeh, a member of the Democratic Gathering parliamentary bloc and Member of Parliament, described negotiations as the optimal means to address the situation in the south after meeting with President Aoun.
He characterized the negotiation process as a battle no less intense than military combat and emphasized the necessity of a clear strategy.
Hamadeh expressed hope that President Aoun’s initiatives would steer Lebanon toward safety.
Hamadeh added that efforts will be made in the National Assembly to pass a general amnesty law through broad consensus, ensuring that no injustice occurs.
