The Lebanese Tobacco and Narghile Monopoly Authority, known as "Regie," announced in a statement that its anti-smuggling unit seized quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, counterfeit and smuggled flavored tobacco, smuggled cigarettes, and smuggled national tobacco. These seizures occurred during raids carried out in the Beirut neighborhoods of Bourj Hammoud, Nabaa, Sabtieh, and Dora.

The operations were part of ongoing efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products. The authority added that official records documenting violations were filed, and the cases are currently under review by the competent judiciary.
