Lebanon's Consumer Price Index Rises by 3.04% in April
Lebanon's Consumer Price Index for April 2026 recorded an increase of 3.04 percent compared to March 2026, with an annual change of 20.02 percent compared to April 2025.

Lebanon's Consumer Price Index for April 2026 recorded an increase of 3.04 percent compared to March 2026, and the annual change in the Consumer Price Index for April 2026 recorded a rate of 20.02 percent, compared to April of the year 2025.
As for the monthly change in the Consumer Price Index for April at the governorate level, it recorded the following rates:
– An increase in Beirut Governorate of 2.02 percent.
– An increase in Mount Lebanon Governorate of 2.71 percent.
– An increase in North Governorate of 2.54 percent.
- An increase in Beqaa Governorate of 5.74 percent.
– An increase in South Governorate of 3.72 percent.
– An increase in Nabatieh Governorate of 3.97 percent.
Note on the price collection process
In light of the continued repercussions related to the current situation in Lebanon, field challenges continued to affect the price collection process during April, which prevented the collection of prices for most goods and services in Nabatieh Governorate, in addition to the inability to collect some prices in unsafe areas. In light of this, approved statistical methods were adopted to complete the missing data and ensure the issuance of the index within its usual timeframe.
