Letter of Thanks from the Minister of Agriculture to Lebanon Television in Appreciation of Its Media Efforts

The Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, Fadi Ghannam, presented a letter of thanks from the Ministry of Agriculture to Lebanon Television, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Board of Directors of Lebanon Television, Alissar Al-Naddaf, in recognition of the Ministry's appreciation for the media role that the official television plays in covering developmental, agricultural, and environmental issues.
The meeting that brought together Ghannam and Al-Naddaf discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Lebanon Television, with a focus on the national agricultural extension program launched by the Ministry in partnership with the Ministry of Information, in addition to exploring new media projects aimed at expanding the scope of agricultural and environmental awareness.
Ghannam conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Agriculture, Nizar Hani, and his appreciation for the initiative undertaken by the management of Lebanon Television by hosting the Ministry's experts in extension and awareness episodes, for its impact in delivering scientific information to farmers and rural communities, and enhancing the culture of sustainable production, food safety, and food security.
Ghannam praised the pioneering role that Al-Naddaf plays in developing national media and consolidating its awareness and developmental mission, commending the high professionalism of the Lebanon Television team, especially the team of the program "Ahela Sabah" and its media producer Patricia Samaha, for the media content they provide that combines science and an attractive style.
Al-Naddaf expressed her thanks for the initiative of the Minister of Agriculture, and appreciated Ghannam's visit and the role he plays in enhancing communication between the Ministry of Agriculture and national media institutions, affirming Lebanon Television's continued performance of its national and media mission despite the great challenges.
Al-Naddaf affirmed the official television's keenness to employ its human and technical capabilities in supporting purposeful media work and enhancing developmental and awareness programs that touch on citizens' daily issues, especially in the agricultural, environmental, and social fields, considering national media a key partner in supporting state plans and spreading a culture of awareness and knowledge.
The two parties agreed on the importance of continuing the partnership between official institutions and national media outlets, as a fundamental pillar in supporting the agricultural sector, spreading environmental and agricultural awareness, and transforming developmental policies into daily practices that serve farmers and consumers.
The letter of thanks, which Ghannam delivered on behalf of Minister Hani, clarified that the Ministry of Agriculture highly values the efforts of Lebanon Television in keeping pace with state priorities and enhancing the awareness message of national media, in a way that serves the agricultural sector and promotes concepts of sustainable development and food sovereignty. It also praised the support of the Minister of Information, Dr. Paul Morcos, and his continuous follow-up of awareness and extension media programs, and his keenness to enhance cooperation between ministries and official media institutions to serve the national interest and sustainable development issues.
