Minister of Justice: Hezbollah Defies State's Path and Its Decisions Are Made in Iran

Justice Minister Adel Nassar affirmed that what is happening in the south is "unacceptable," stating that Hezbollah's weapons have caused several wars since 2000, and noting that the group's decisions are not made by its local leaders but by Iran.

Nassar said Hezbollah defies the natural course of the state and prefers sacrificing Lebanese societal security to preserve its arsenal, which obstructs negotiation efforts.

He emphasized his commitment to judicial independence, affirming there is no judge "aligned" with any political entity.

Nassar paid tribute to judges, highlighting positive progress and increased productivity within the judiciary, and noted ongoing efforts to develop the Judicial Institute in cooperation with the French state.
