Aoun Receives Hague Conference Secretary-General and Discusses Lebanon's Accession

President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received, in the presence of Minister of Justice Adel Nassar, the Secretary-General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, Christophe Bernasconi. Bernasconi outlined the scope of the Conference's work and the membership of numerous Arab and Mediterranean countries, inviting Lebanon to join given the importance of cooperation in applying rules of private international law and facilitating transactions and procedures.

The President expressed Lebanon's readiness to cooperate in this field and encouraged moving forward in this context.
