Nabih Berri: It seems that Saudi Arabia loves me more than some Lebanese

Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri said: "Whoever the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia loves, the whole world loves, and it seems that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia loves me more than some Lebanese."

And he affirmed, in an interview with "Asas Media" website, his adherence to what he describes as the "triple guarantee" for Lebanon, adding: "I have always said it and still do, we in Lebanon need a triple guarantee consisting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United States of America, and Iran."

He stressed the strength of the relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, saying: "My relationship with the Saudi Kingdom is firm, and throughout my political life I have never uttered a derogatory word against the Kingdom, because I believe in its love for Lebanon and its care for it, and the centrality of its role in consolidating national stability."
