Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Monday that Hezbollah is "in a state of flight," affirming Israel's commitment to restoring security for residents in the northern part of the country.

According to Israeli media, Netanyahu emphasized that the objective is to regain stability in the north "as has been achieved in the south," stressing that "there will be no situation where Hezbollah attacks our cities and citizens while terrorist bases in Beirut’s southern suburb remain beyond our reach."

He noted that the Israeli army is continuing to expand its field operations in southern Lebanon with the aim of "eliminating Hezbollah strongholds and enhancing security along the northern border."

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stated that the army is working to bring the Litani area under Israeli security control as part of ongoing operations.

Katz added that "if northern Israel does not enjoy peace, Beirut will not either," confirming that military actions against Hezbollah in Lebanon are ongoing and that the army is achieving "major accomplishments" and destroying the group’s capabilities, according to his remarks.

On Monday, southern Lebanon experienced a new escalation on the ground alongside continued Israeli airstrikes on several villages in the Nabatieh and Jezzine districts. This was accompanied by repeated warnings to evacuate large residential areas, resulting in additional displacement from the targeted towns.

Lebanese media reports indicated that Israeli aircraft carried out a series of strikes around towns in the Nabatieh district simultaneously with other air raids targeting areas in the Jezzine district, as part of the ongoing military campaign in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army continued issuing urgent evacuation notices to residents of several villages, instructing them to leave their homes and move to safer locations, citing strikes against facilities affiliated with Hezbollah. This has heightened tensions in the border region.
