Partly cloudy with scattered rain in the north starting from noon

Forecasted by the Meteorological Department at the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, tomorrow’s weather will be partly cloudy with occasional dense fog on elevated areas, without significant changes in coastal temperatures and a slight decrease inland and above mountains. Winds will occasionally strengthen, and scattered rainfall is expected, particularly in northern regions starting from noon.

The bulletin reads:

-General conditions: A relatively stable autumnal weather pattern will prevail over Lebanon and the Eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures within seasonal averages. This will become locally variable starting Tuesday, with some light scattered rains expected until mid-afternoon Thursday.

September average temperatures: Tripoli between 22 and 32°C, Beirut 24 to 32°C, Zahle between 16 and 32°C.

-Weather forecast for Lebanon:

Monday: Slightly cloudy to partly cloudy with fog on elevated areas and a slight temperature rise, especially inland. Scattered showers are expected in northern and mountainous regions starting from afternoon.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with occasional dense fog on elevated areas, with no significant change in coastal temperatures and a slight drop inland and above mountains. Winds will occasionally strengthen, and scattered rainfall is expected, particularly in northern regions starting from noon.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with fog on elevated areas and stable temperatures. Winds will strengthen in northern areas, accompanied by an increase in sea wave height.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with no significant temperature change and dense fog on elevated areas. Winds will occasionally strengthen, and light scattered rains may occur starting from noon.

-Coastal temperatures: 22 to 32 degrees, above mountains: 16 to 25 degrees, inland: 16 to 32 degrees.

-Surface winds: Westerly to northwesterly during the day, weak and variable at night, speed between 10 and 25 km/h.

-Visibility: Good along the coast, moderate to poor on elevated areas due to fog.
