Israeli and Lebanese officials are preparing for a new round of talks in Rome next week, though the date may be postponed due to President Joseph Aoun's visit to Washington, while US officials explore a tripartite meeting involving Trump, Netanyahu, and Aoun.

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported that Israel and Lebanon are preparing to hold a new round of talks for two days next week in the Italian capital Rome, based on the framework agreement signed by the two countries' ambassadors in the United States.
The newspaper indicated that the meeting date may be postponed for a week due to the upcoming visit of President Joseph Aoun to Washington on July 21.
In this context, US officials are exploring the possibility of holding a tripartite meeting bringing together US President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and President Joseph Aoun, despite the Lebanese side's opposition to any meeting with Netanyahu, according to what the newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" reported.
