Lebanese National Defense Minister Major General Michel Moussa met with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, attended by Lebanon's Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia Youssef Jabri, conveying greetings from Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun, thanking him for his kind invitation, warm hospitality, and efforts to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement.

The meeting addressed options for the post-mission phase following the conclusion of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) duties later this year, as well as an overview of the general situation in Lebanon, particularly in the south. The Serbian side expressed its readiness to continue supporting Lebanon, especially in humanitarian aid and future reconstruction efforts.

Major General Moussa also conveyed his condolences to President Vučić over the killing of one of the Serbian contingent members of UNIFIL near Marjayoun.
