Protecting the Dignity of Education... The Professional Association Calls for Participation in a Sit-In
The Administrative Body of the Association of Vocational and Technical Education Teachers held a meeting via Google Meet to discuss arbitrary decisions based on a technical error and their impact on the principles of justice, equality, and student rights.

The Administrative Body of the Association of Vocational and Technical Education Teachers held a meeting via the "Google Meet" application, to discuss "the arbitrary decisions that were built on a technical error, and the resulting infringement on the principles of justice and equality and on students' rights."
It affirmed, "Based on Article Seven of the Lebanese Constitution, which guarantees equality among all Lebanese before the law, its absolute rejection of any decision that entrenches educational division and discrimination, diminishes students' rights, and strips the official certificate of its prestige and credibility."
The body stressed that "the dignity of education is not a field for experiments, and students' rights are not subject to bargaining or arbitrary treatments."
It called on all teachers, students, parents, and all union and educational forces to "massively participate in the central sit-in on Tuesday, July 7, at 11:00 AM in front of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education building - UNESCO, in defense of justice, to achieve students' rights, and to protect the dignity of public education, especially vocational and technical education, as a clear message," considering that "the educational family will not accept any infringement on equality or tampering with the fate of its students."
