Public Prosecutor's Office: Radia Salameh Receives Continuous Medical Care

The Public Prosecutor's Office issued a statement in response to media reports dated 4/8/2026 regarding a statement attributed to the family of Radia Salameh.

It stated: "It wishes to reiterate once again that the detained individual is provided with all necessary medical and healthcare facilities, in order to ensure the medical safety of any detainee." It also confirmed that "Radia Salameh is under continuous and constant medical supervision at all times, as confirmed by his personal physician who regularly visits his place of detention, most recently yesterday evening."

It added: "That Salameh's doctor has expressed gratitude for the medical and humanitarian care received by the detainee, contrary to the inaccuracies contained in the statement attributed to his family."
