A diplomatic source in Beirut says the Qatari foreign minister's visit to Lebanon is imminent, with political, economic and reconstruction files topping the agenda amid Qatari-Saudi coordination.

A diplomatic source in Beirut told the "Nidaa al-Watan" newspaper that "the visit of Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al-Khulaifi to Beirut, which had been previously scheduled and postponed due to the death of the Father Emir, has become very imminent."
He confirmed that "the visit acquires special importance given the political, economic and reconstruction files that will top its agenda," noting that it "comes within the framework of ongoing coordination with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reflecting the continued Gulf interest in following up on Lebanese files and supporting treatment paths on more than one level."
