Qatar's Emir Meets Walid Jumblatt to Discuss Lebanon and Regional Developments
Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Walid Jumblatt and his delegation to discuss Lebanon's situation and regional updates.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, received former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt at Lusail Palace in Doha, Qatar's capital. The accompanying delegation included Progressive Socialist Party and Democratic Gathering MP Taymour Jumblatt and Democratic Gathering Secretary-General MP Hadi Abu Hassan.
The meeting focused on the current conditions and latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region, addressing ways to tackle challenges, reduce tensions, and end the state of conflict in Lebanon and the surrounding area.
Walid Jumblatt praised Qatar's diplomatic and political efforts led by the Emir to achieve security and stability in the region. He also expressed appreciation for Qatar's active role and consistent support for Lebanon across all stages and at political, economic, and developmental levels, highlighting the brotherly relations between the two countries.
