Raid in Brital, Seizure of Military Weapons, and Arrests

Issued by the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance, the following statement:

A unit of the army carried out raids in the Roueissat-Metn area and arrested 3 citizens for opening fire during a funeral ceremony on 19 / 5 / 2026, within the framework of pursuing those who opened fire in various Lebanese regions.

Another unit also raided in the town of Brital - Baalbek the homes of individuals involved in an altercation that included gunfire, and arrested the citizen (B.A.) and seized in his possession a quantity of military weapons and ammunition, in addition to military equipment.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary, and work is underway to arrest the remaining gunmen.
