Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raji met with the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, on the sidelines of his participation in the 22nd session of the Manama Dialogue. During the meeting, they reviewed the situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the challenges facing them amid rapid developments.

Raji also met with members of the Lebanese community in Bahrain at the embassy headquarters, at the invitation of Lebanon's Ambassador to Manama, Hadi Hashem.

Hashem welcomed the minister, saying: "We knew you as an exceptional diplomat, and today as a courageous politician working for the freedom, sovereignty, and stability of Lebanon without fear." He added: "As you said, the road is long, but we are determined, and we are determined with you."

For his part, Raji expressed his happiness at meeting the community, emphasizing that Lebanon needs stability to attract investments and revive its economy. He clarified that the government has taken courageous decisions regarding arms control, but implementation has not been completed due to the stance of these armed organizations, affirming that the government is determined and will not retreat from its decisions.

Raji renewed his condemnation of the attacks targeting Gulf states, noting the role of community members in helping Lebanon overcome its economic crisis through their remittances to relatives. He concluded by addressing them: "Always support your embassy in Bahrain, it is like the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has returned to being Lebanese."

At the end of the meeting, the minister shook hands with community members and listened to their concerns and demands. They unanimously told him: "Do not change your positions, we are with you."
