Salam Reviews Completed Projects in Nabatieh
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam met with the Nabatieh Municipal Council delegation to review progress on projects initiated following his recent visit to the city.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the Nabatieh Municipal Council, led by its president Abbas Fakhr al-Din. The delegation included Deputy Mayor Mohammad Hijazi and council members Hussein Jaber, Khadr Qadih, and Mohammad Kheirallah, in the presence of Hassan Jaber, head of the Nabatieh Mukhtars Association.
The discussion focused on the outcomes of President Salam's visit to Nabatieh and the follow-up on projects that commenced after the visit.
After the meeting, Fakhr al-Din stated: "Our goal for this meeting was to inform President Salam about what has been achieved regarding the proposals and ideas we presented during his visit to the city about a month ago. We reviewed the programs that have started and the completion rates of projects monitored by both the Southern Council and the Council for Development and Reconstruction. We placed before President Salam a detailed list of achievements and projects that have begun implementation, accompanied by photos documenting the work on the ground before, during, and after execution."
He added: "The atmosphere of the meeting was very positive, and President Salam expressed satisfaction with the results achieved. We came today to the Government Palace to honor what we agreed upon during his visit to Nabatieh, when we agreed to return after work began to update him on progress. We thanked him for his visit and interest in the city's conditions. We also discussed completing other projects promised by President Salam and ways to follow up with relevant authorities to accelerate their implementation. We touched upon several administrative issues related to the Nabatieh Municipality, which require follow-up with the Ministry of Interior and concerned official bodies. We will continue discussing some of these files during an upcoming visit to the Council for Development and Reconstruction to review what has been completed and what remains."
Fakhr al-Din concluded: "The meeting was important and positive, and we hope stability prevails in Lebanon generally, and in the South specifically."
