Salim chaired two meetings on southern projects and revitalizing Beirut's vegetable and fruit market

Prime Minister Nouf Salim received Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Ala Mousa during a farewell visit marking the end of his duties in Beirut.

Additionally, Salim received Greek Ambassador to Lebanon Despina Kokolopoulou during a farewell visit marking the end of her diplomatic mission in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, Salim chaired a meeting dedicated to following up on priority projects in the south, attended by Minister of Public Works and Transport Faiq Rassamani, Chairman of the Development and Reconstruction Board Muhammad Ali Qabani, Chairman of the South Council Hashem Haydar, General Secretary of the Higher Relief Council Colonel Bassam Al-Nabulsi, and Director of the Central Operations Room at the Prime Minister's Office Zahi Shahin.

Salim stressed during the meeting the need to accelerate the implementation of priority projects, particularly those related to removing war aftermath, rehabilitating infrastructure, and essential facilities.

Similarly, Salim chaired a meeting attended by Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Al-Basat, Interior and Municipalities Minister Colonel Ahmed Al-Hajjar, Former Minister of Economic Bodies Mohamed Chakir, Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Aboud, Mayor of Beirut Ibrahim Zeidan, and focused on reviving the central vegetable and fruit market in Beirut.

During the meeting, the current state of the market and required steps for its reactivation were presented, especially addressing existing administrative and logistical obstacles and ensuring necessary conditions for reopening and organizing operations.

Moreover, Prime Minister Dr. Nouf Salim received Chairman of the Board of Directors of Middle East Airlines Muhammad Al-Hout, discussing the company’s current status and future plans.

Salim emphasized the need to expedite completion of required procedures to revive the market through coordination among relevant ministries, agencies, and the Municipality of Beirut.
