A judicial source confirmed to MTV that no political interference has occurred in the case of State Security Colonel Mohammad Shrim, linked to the Sakiet al-Janzir incident. The source stated that Military Court Government Commissioner Judge Claude Ghanem summoned Shrim shortly after Saturday's events. Shrim is expected to appear today before Brigadier General Bassam Abu Farh, who will likely release him pending further investigation. Additionally, the generator owner, patrol members, and other participants in the incident will be summoned for questioning.
