Stable weather in Lebanon with fog on elevated areas and temperatures above seasonal averages

Forecast by the Forecasting Division at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Meteorology indicates that tomorrow's weather will be cloudy with fog over elevated areas and further temperature rise, especially in the interior and mountains.

The bulletin reads as follows:

- General conditions: Stable weather prevails over Lebanon and the Eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures below seasonal averages, gradually increasing, particularly in the interior and mountains. Average September temperatures: Tripoli between 22 and 32°C, Beirut 24 to 32, Zahle between 16 and 32°C.

- Expected weather in Lebanon:

Saturday: Partly cloudy with fog over elevated areas and a chance of light scattered showers in the morning, with weather improving gradually during the day and temperatures rising, especially in the interior and mountains.

Sunday: Partly cloudy with fog over elevated areas and additional temperature rise, particularly in the interior and mountains.

Monday: Partly cloudy with fog over elevated areas and further temperature increase, especially in the interior and mountains, with a chance of light drizzle in southern regions during the evening.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with fog over elevated areas and a slight temperature rise, with winds occasionally strengthening, particularly in northern regions.

- Coastal temperatures: 19 to 30 degrees, mountainous areas: 17 to 27 degrees, inland: 18 to 29 degrees.

- Surface winds: Southwesterly, speed between 15 and 35 km/h.

- Visibility: Moderate, occasionally poor over elevated areas due to fog.

- Relative humidity along the coast: between 60 and 75%.
