President Joseph Aoun met with General Edgar Laundès, head of State Security, to discuss security conditions and measures implemented in the south, particularly in Nabatiyeh, following the security meeting chaired by Aoun last Wednesday.
President Joseph Aoun received General Edgar Laundès, Director General of State Security, and discussed the country's security situation and the measures taken by the agency to strengthen its presence in the south generally and in the Nabatiyeh region specifically, in implementation of the deliberations from the security meeting chaired by Aoun last Wednesday.
The discussion also covered State Security’s work in combating corruption and ensuring compliance within government administrations and official institutions.
